Position: Bartender
Salary Range: Tipped Hourly Pay
Level: Full-Time
Barrier Island Brewing is seeking a talented mixologist with an engaging personality to serve both classic and exciting new craft cocktails to bar guests. We have an extensive craft cocktail menu and strive to constantly create new drinks and specials. Applicants should know their craft beer, cocktails, and wines well.
As a BIB bartender, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to guests quickly and efficiently
- Listen to guest preferences and recommend beverages they might enjoy
- Develop new cocktail recipes and help create new drink menus
- Keep up with prep necessary for service at a full-scale craft cocktail bar
- Maintain a clean and efficient well during service
- Input orders correctly in the appropriate point-of-sale system
- Check identification to verify guests are of legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages
